My Approach
I enjoy teaching people the skills required to find their own psychological 'alignment' between where they are and where they want to be. This is, initially, an internal shift of integrating one's mind body, heart and spirit. When we intentionally line up with the whole of who we are, we can access the collective energy to create our desires. This is the first step towards becoming 'consciously aware' of the 'co-creative process' that happens within our mind before the pure joy of inspired action can be experienced.
My approach is to use a wide range of evidence-based psychological strategies, theories, and philosophies; used predominantly to empower people, to redirect negative and unhelpful thought patterns that no longer serve them. The aim is to help you become more 'consciously aware' of the direction of your thoughts, so you can observe and manage your emotional state. There is so much freedom in the self-realisation, that you are not your thoughts; you are the awareness behind them.
Ideally, instead of reacting unconsciously to unwanted life experiences, we want to make a more deliberate mindset shift, before our thoughts manifest. If we can align our thoughts, beliefs and feelings towards preferred experiences, our thoughts tend to materialise into more pleasing physical experiences. In other words, we are trying to reduce our fears and resistance by finding one pleasing thought after another and then emotionally lining up with it.
Only then can we truly recognise, appreciate and experience the power of the present moment (Eckhart Tolle). As you practice and move closer and closer towards Abraham Maslow's notion of self-actualisation, the idea that 'one's self and ones environment are two pieces of a greater whole', you start to become aware of life's 'synchronies'. Synchronicity is a term Carl Jung coined to refer to 'meaningful coincidences', except now you will no longer experiences them as coincidences but as 'conscious co-creations'.
We have so much power to create more pleasing experiences when we connect with our intuition, our inner guidance, and inspired thoughts. We just need to become more 'conscious' of our internal alignment and the present moment. Then we can deliberately shift our attention, and focus on what it is we want to create, rather than reacting to what already exists.
