Welcome to Alignment Psychology

Psychological support for anxiety, burnout and life transitions
When life feels full — but not quite fulfilling.”

At Alignment Psychology, therapy is provided in a calm and supportive space to better understand what is happening internally, develop practical strategies and create meaningful change over time.

You may be feeling:

• anxiety, overwhelmed or mentally overloaded
• emotionally exhausted, reactive or burnt out
• stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable

• feeling disconnected, flat or “not yourself”

• disconnected from yourself or uncertain about what comes next

• difficulty navigating life transitions or change

Over time therapy may help you:

• feel calmer, steadier and more regulated

• reduce overwhelm and mental fatigue

• understand and shift unhelpful patterns

• respond rather than react under stress

• rebuild self-trust and internal clarity

• feel more aligned in how you live and relate to yourself and others

With over 20 years’ experience as a registered psychologist and a background in health psychology, Jacqueline supports professionals, women in midlife and high-functioning adults navigating stress, anxiety, burnout and life transitions.

Her approach integrates evidence-based psychological care within a reflective, collaborative, and emotionally grounded therapeutic space - supporting clients to better understand thought patterns, develop greater emotional awareness and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Jacqueline’s work is particularly focused on supporting those who may appear to function well externally, while internally experiencing overwhelm, emotional exhaustion or a growing sense that something no longer feels sustainable.

Areas of Expertise & Therapy

Evidence-Based Therapy

Therapy is informed by evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy and solution-focused strategies - tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Nervous System & Emotional Regulation

Sessions may incorporate mindfulness, grounding and nervous system regulation strategies to support stress recovery, emotional balance and improved self-regulation.

Trauma-Informed & Reflective Care

A compassionate, trauma-informed approach supports greater self-awareness, resilience and insight into emotional, behavioural and relational patterns during periods of stress, change and transition.

You may be in the right place if…

Supporting people who often function well on the outside, but feel internally depleted, anxious, or mentally overloaded.

This may show up as:

• emotional exhaustion
• overthinking, worry or emotional reactivity
• self-criticism or persistent inner pressure
• menopause-related changes and challenges
• people-pleasing patterns
• feeling stuck, uncertain or in transition

You may be looking for more than coping or symptom relief - and feel ready to engage in deeper therapeutic work that supports greater internal congruence: a sense of alignment between your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
