Welcome to
Alignment Psychology
Psychological support for anxiety, burnout and life transitions
Psychology that helps you come back into alignment with yourself
'When life feels full - but not quite fulfilling'
You may appear to be coping on the outside while privately carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. Perhaps you are constantly managing responsibilities, supporting others, meeting expectations, or navigating a significant life transition. Over time, this can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, uncertain, or unsure about the path ahead.
Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect and develop a clearer understanding of the patterns shaping your internal and external experiences. Together, we explore both practical strategies and deeper insight to support emotional wellbeing, self-understanding and meaningful change.

You may be experiencing:
-
Anxiety, chronic stress or persistent worry
-
Emotional exhaustion, burnout or overwhelm
-
Difficulty switching off or relaxing
-
Feeling disconnected from yourself or your usual sense of confidence
-
Life transitions, uncertainty or major change
-
Relationship challenges or communication difficulties
-
Patterns that no longer feel sustainable
-
A sense that something needs to change, but you're not sure where to begin
Over time, therapy may help you:
-
Feel calmer and more emotionally regulated
-
Reduce overwhelm and mental fatigue
-
Understand and shift unhelpful patterns
-
Respond rather than react during periods of stress
-
Strengthen resilience and self-awareness
-
Rebuild self-trust and confidence
-
Navigate change with greater clarity
-
Feel more aligned in how you live, work and relate to yourself and others

AHPRA Registered Psychologist | 20+ years’ experience
APS Member | Medicare, DVA & WorkCover Provider
With over 20 years of experience as a registered psychologist and a background in health psychology, Jacqueline supports professionals, women in midlife, and Year 12 and university students navigating burnout, perfectionism, major transitions and the psychological challenges that can arise during demanding stages of life.
Her clients are often responsible, high-achieving individuals who continue to meet expectations at work, in study or within their families, while privately feeling depleted, stuck or no longer feeling like themselves. She provides a reflective therapeutic environment where difficulties can be explored openly and new perspectives can emerge.
Drawing on extensive clinical experience and a collaborative approach, Jacqueline helps people strengthen emotional wellbeing, develop sustainable coping skills, and make choices that are more consistent with their values, priorities and long-term goals.

The Alignment Approach
"Therapy isn't about becoming someone different. It's about understanding yourself more deeply and living in greater alignment with who you are."
At the heart of this practice is a simple but meaningful way of understanding psychological change. Rather than focusing on fixing or changing who you are, therapy supports you in gently coming back into connection with yourself and what matters most.
Understand
your patterns, protective strategies, and emotional responses - the ways you have learned to cope, adapt and keep going, even when those strategies begin to feel overwhelming or limiting.
Reconnect
with your internal world - your needs, emotions, values and the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside while focusing on responsibilities, expectations or caring for others.
Realign
your choices, relationships and ways of living with a clearer sense of what matters to you, at a pace that feels considered, realistic and sustainable.
Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because the way they have learned to cope no longer feels sustainable. In our work together, we focus less on fixing and more on understanding - especially the patterns that once helped you function but now leave you feeling disconnected or overwhelmed.
why the therapeutic relationship matters

Many people reach out after months or even years of trying to manage things on their own. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Support can be a way to gain perspective, understand yourself more deeply and find a different way forward.
Research consistently shows that feeling safe, understood and genuinely connected with your psychologist is one of the strongest predictors of positive therapeutic outcomes.
Therapy is a structured relationship built on safety, trust and consistency. My role is to help you understand patterns, regulate emotional responses and develop greater clarity in how you relate to yourself and others.
Together, we work at a pace that respects your capacity, allowing space for reflection and meaningful change without pressure or overwhelm. Over time, the therapeutic relationship itself can become a steady place to make sense of your experiences and move towards greater balance, self-understanding and confidence.
